Better By Bike
The aim of the Breeze network is to provide social, non-competitive rides to encourage women to have a go at cycling or enable women who currently cycle to meet other cycling women. The rides have varied in length from 2 to 10 miles, but can be as long or short as the volunteer fancies.
Bristol Academy Ladies
Bristol Rovers Women became known as Bristol Academy Women’s FC during the summer of 2005 under a new partnership agreement with Filton College. The Team are still known as the ‘Gas Girls’ and they continue to perform in traditional Blue and White Quarters.
Bristol Ladies Rugby Club
Bristol Ladies is a welcoming club offering aspirational players the opportunity to develop and grow. We currently have two senior teams: one in the Premiership and another in Championship South West 2. The club have a high calibre of coaching staff and a huge wealth of talent, with a squad that boasts a high percentage of county and international players at elite and U20 level.
Started by two friends, Frenchay Runners/Brislington Runners aim is simply to bring women together and help them reap the benefits of walking/jogging/running. They bring women of all ages, backgrounds and abilities together in a social, fun environment which helps to improve women’s lives on all levels.
Sole Sisters is Bristol’s only all women England Athletics affiliated running group based in North Bristol and offering support to beginners as well as more experienced runners.
We provide up to date listings of women’s sporting events in Bristol and invite everyone to show up and support. We also feature regular stories on local women athletes, as well as commentary, match reports, and news articles.
Nice Bristols is a local women’s Ultimate Frisbee team. They have recently qualified for the World Club Championships.
