The Well is a Supported Housing project for vulnerable women who are looking to leave the sex industry. It is a large detached house, close to the city centre providing 24 hour support to five women with a variety of complex needs. All service users are assigned a Key Worker who works closely with them to draw up a Support Plan based on their individual needs.

Bristol Against Violence and Abuse (BAVA) is a collection of people and organisations in Bristol working to end all types of violence and abuse against women and girls and domestic and sexual violence against men. Formerly Bristol Domestic Abuse Forum (BDAF); the name change to BAVA enables Bristol to reflect the government policy to challenge all types of gender-based violence.

Bristol Crisis Service for Women is a national organisation that supports girls and women in emotional distress. We particularly help women who harm themselves (often called self-injury).
Counselling Directory is a confidential service that encourages those in distress to seek help. The directory contains information on many different types of distress, as well as articles, news, and events. National Centre for Domestic Violence
The National Centre for Domestic Violence (NCDV) provides a free, fast emergency injunction service to survivors of domestic violence regardless of their financial circumstances, race, gender or sexual orientation.
National Domestic Violence Helpline
The Helpline can give support, help and information over the telephone, wherever the caller might be in the country. The Helpline is staffed 24 hours a day by fully trained female helpline support workers and volunteers. All calls are completely confidential. Translation facilities for callers whose first language is not English, and a service for callers who are deaf or hard of hearing are available.

Rights of Women
Rights of Women run a free General Legal Advice Line. We can provide free legal advice by women for women on 020 7251 6577. The line is open Monday 11am-1pm, Tuesday and Wednesday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm, Thursday from 7- 9pm and also Friday 12-2pm. We can also signpost you to other advice organisations or local solicitors.
Survive is a Domestic Abuse service for women and children. They provide a range of services to support women and cover the South Gloucestershire and Bristol areas.
The Freedom Programme
The Freedom Programme support group for women is a 12 week support group for women. It is run as a rolling programme which means you can join at any point. The benefits are the same as long as you complete 12 weeks. FP is open to any woman who wishes to learn more about the reality of domestic abuse, whether she is in or has left an abusive relationship, including women who have no plan to leave their partner.
