Women’s Landmarks Workshops: Make Site Specific & Digital Games
16th July 2018 - 18th July 2018
Calling all Bristol Grrrls aged 13-18…
Come and Make Games…
We will be making digital games inspired by the stories of Bristol Suffragettes.
Workshops will start on 16th July and will be Mondays in Knowle West Media Centre, Tuesdays at Docklands Youth Centre in St Pauls and Wednesdays at The Vench in Lockleaze. All the sessions will be 10am-3pm and include a free lunch.
All 13-18 year old grrrls welcome– no experience or computer skills needed, just an interest in making stuff up.

The games will tell the story of the women’s suffrage movement through interaction with place and history. The project is led by Dr Constance Fleuriot (Women In Games Ambassador) and founder of Bristol Women’s Tech Hub in partnership with Girrrl Games. The games will be developed and built by young women aged 13-18.
Women’s Landmarks is part of Deeds Not Words, a year-long programme of events to mark 100 years since the first women were given the vote in the UK.
