Bristol Women´s Voice present a week of celebrations for International Women´s Day 2021

Bristol Women’s Voice are proud to announce our online Bristol’s International Women’s Day events. We have created an exciting and vibrant programme that enables people to stay safe but still connect to celebrate women and girls around this important day – which perhaps is needed now more than ever!
Monday 8th March – Sunday 14th March
#IWD2021  #ChooseToChallenge  #IWD2021BWV  #WeAreBristol

This year´s international theme is #ChooseToChallenge and we have programmed a week of online and remote activities from Monday, March 8th to Sunday, March 14th with a couple of activities each day and two full days of events on the weekend. There are also some activities available all week and some interactive elements that people can join in with at home. We have tried to make sure there is a spread of different types of activities across the week that anyone in Bristol can engage with and get involved in remotely.

As usual, people can expect a programme packed with performances, activities, discussions and workshops that inform, inspire and celebrate women all from the comfort of your own home! Most events are completely free although booking is required.

Zoom subtitle captions will be used for all workshops where possible.

Programme: Monday March 8th - Sunday March 14th

Bristol Women’s Voice are excited to have worked with Miranda Rae, Broadcast Manager at Ujima Radio, who has curated a YouTube playlist showcasing the work of local women musicians, singers and producers as part of the online Bristol International Women’s Day events.
