The introduction of the One City Plan highlighted the importance of having clear achievable and sustainable goals for each stage of our city’s development. In order to achieve any of these goals they must reach out to all citizens – no matter their gender, race, sexuality or background. By mapping these goals on to the Wo-Manifesto, it demonstrates why it is so crucial that women’s issues are properly represented and how Bristol Women’s Voice will help to achieve these goals.
It is broken down into the 6 categories of the Wo-Manifesto- Health, Power, Economy, Housing, Education and Safety. The goals are displayed in a timeline, in order to establish which actions should be prioritised by both Bristol as a city and Bristol Women’s Voice. You can read the full report here.
