Bristol Women’s Voice is looking for artists to create illustrations of hidden women activists from Bristol – women whose stories are lesser known but who played an important role in the fight for equality and justice. These cards will be used as tools for learning, inspiration, and celebration across the city.
✨ This is a paid opportunity ✨
We are especially keen to hear from women artists from underrepresented backgrounds, including women of colour, disabled women, LGBTQI+ women, young and older women, and those from working-class communities.
What’s involved?
- Create an illustration of 1-3 women activists for inclusion in the deck.
- Your name and contact details will appear on the cards, helping promote your work to new audiences.
- Your art will form part of a lasting community resource celebrating women’s activism in Bristol.
How to Apply
If you’d like to be considered, please send:
- A short introduction about yourself and your artistic practice
- 2–3 examples of your work (or a link to your portfolio)
📩 Email submissions to: info@bristolwomensvoice.org.uk
