Get your voice heard in the new Temple Quarter Enterprise Zone!

Get involved in BWV’s research

Are you a woman living in Easton or Lawrence Hill? Do you want to have a say in the new development that is being built close-by? We are looking for women in the area to take part in our research project  which aims to collect women’s ideas about what could help them find sustainable, satisfying work in the new zone. Interviews will only take an hour of your time and the findings will be used to make sure women’s voices are heard by businesses, developers and the council.

About the project

Temple Quarter Enterprise Zone was set up in 2012 and aims to attract 17,000 jobs by 2037 focusing on hi-tech, creative and digital, low carbon and professional services. The zone is one of the biggest new developments in the UK. You can find more information here on the TQEZ website.

Women of Lawrence Hill: Growing Engaging Empowering was set up to ensure that women’s voices are heard by those developing the area so that women from the local area can find work in the new zone. BWV will be interviewing women with the help of 6 local researchers and putting together a film which will be showcased in November at Barton Hill Settlement. Our research will be shared with the council and taken forward by the Women’s Commission’s Women’s Budget Group once the project has finished.

Sign up to take part in our research here or contact our Project Coordinator Debra via Debra@bristolwomensvoice.org.uk or 07544422537.
