Small Acts: Women Creating Change

A dandelion with text: Small Acts, Women Creating Change.

Changing the world can be exhausting and we know a lot of women in particular don’t have much time – between caring, working, parenting, living and surviving there’s often not much left in the tank. But we know that big change comes from small actions, and women have always been change-makers.

That’s why we’re launching our new Small Acts programme, encouraging women to engage in small, low-resource crafty activities to support our work and to lend support to our campaigns for greater equality.  You con’t need to be shouting in the streets to make a make racket.

In the next year, we will be inviting women and others to call for change by joining a movement demanding that decision makers start to tackle women’s economic inequality. You can learn more about this campaign here.

In the meantime, keep a lookout for future news on our newsletters and socials to discover how to participate in this exciting new opportunity to become Bristol trailblazers!

And if you’re interested in learning more about volunteering with us to deliver Small Acts sessions in the community to connect with women and connect them to our campaigning, contact Dahlia: communitycoordinator@bristolwomensvoice.org.
