Services Available

Services Offered:

Self injury Support is a registered charity who supports anyone affected by self harm. On Monday and Thursday evenings we operate a volunteer-run helpline and text support service for anyone affected by self-harm, whether it’s affecting them directly or it’s affecting someone they care about. This service does not offer advice, but it does offer active listening and understanding. The phone number of anyone who gets in touch is always hidden. Our service remains confidential, anonymous and non-judgmental. On Thursdays, we only have self-identifying women volunteering, so if you feel more comfortable speaking to a woman, that is the best time to get in touch but people of all genders are welcome to contact us on both nights. If you are unsure of what to say, just start with “hello” and our volunteers will take it from there.

Referral Procedure:

To access the helpline and text support service, no referral is needed.
